THE BLOG

I created this blog as a means to deal with my rainbow baby's stay in the NICU. It is now to deal with my life after suffering the neonatal loss of my son, Dexter Beckett (March 9, 2009 - March 10, 2009) & the journey of bringing our rainbow home. We got pregnant in December of 2010 with our rainbow baby & found out about it in January of 2011. After an uneventful rainbow pregnancy my son Milo Spencer was born at 29 weeks & 1 day on July 7, 2011. He spent 46 days in the NICU until he was able to come home on August 21, 2011. Now we are adjusting to life with a preemie, dealing with a borderline CHD & possible genetic issues. But he is an awesome baby & this is our life through grey skies.

THE MAMA

I'm Leslie. I am 31 years old & the proud mama of 4 children. I have 3 earthbound babies whom I love very much. I have a 12 year old son named Ian, a 4 year old daughter named Avery & a 2 month old preemie baby named Milo. I have 1 angel baby named Dexter who sends me dragonflies & shooting stars all the time. I have a wonderful boyfriend named Robert. I am a stay at home mom who enjoys blogging, making websites, karaoke, making graphics, learning to be a better homemaker, working on projects, gaming with friends, community theater, spending too much time in Facebook & Livejournal, volunteer work & making new friends. If I am not home with my babies or with my dear boyfriend, I am usually shopping at thrift stores, having sushi with my best friend or taking a nap! When I go back to school I would like to be a grief counselor.
